Publish a new CV version
For Jenks — replace the AI or Web3 CV PDF with a new version from the console, the CLI, MCP or REST; the stable links serve it and the old version stays downloadable.
What happens
A CV is a small content file (content/corpus/resumes/<slug>.md) that points at a PDF in the media
library. Publishing a new version:
- uploads the PDF to the media library,
- moves the current version into the CV's history (still downloadable at
/cv/<slug>/<version>.pdf), - sets the new version, date and page-1 preview,
- commits the change — CI translates the card text and deploys in a few minutes.
https://jenksguo.xyz/cv/<slug>.pdf then serves the new PDF. Nothing else needs updating: the CV
page, the brief, llms.txt, the API, MCP and the CLI all read the same file.
In the console
- Open
/admin, then CVs in the sidebar, and choose ai or web3. - In Visual mode, select Upload new version (PDF) and choose the file. The console uploads
it, renders page 1 as the preview, sets the version (for example
2026.10) and today's date, and moves the previous PDF into Earlier versions. - Adjust the title, summary or version if you like, check Changes, then Save & publish.
From the CLI
jenks admin cv publish ai ~/Downloads/Jenks-Guo-AI-2026-10.pdf --cv-version 2026.10
jenks admin deploys
The CLI does not render a preview: the card keeps its previous preview image. Upload a page-1 image
with jenks admin media upload preview.webp and pass --preview /media/… to change it.
From an AI agent (MCP)
Use admin_publish_cv on the admin MCP server. With the local server (jenks mcp --admin) pass
path to a PDF on your computer; with the remote server pass url or base64 data.
Publish ~/Downloads/Jenks-Guo-AI-2026-10.pdf as the new "ai" CV, version 2026.10.
Add a new kind of CV
Publish with a new slug and a title and summary, for example
jenks admin cv publish devrel cv.pdf --cv-version 2026.10 --title "DevRel CV" --summary "…".
It appears on the CV page and at /cv/devrel.pdf.
